My car was making an awful sound, and a friend recommended this place. They took a test drive
immediately when I brought the car in, diagnosed the problem, and had the car up on a lift
within 10 minutes of my arrival. Then they showed me the bent axle, and explained why what the problem was,
how it made the sound, etc. I'm a woman, and I really appreciate it when a repair shop still assumes that
I want to understand the problem. The next day they called with an estimate. I checked with my brother to
see if the price was good, and he said Yes! When I picked up the car, it turned out I had misunderstood,
and the cost was $100 less than I thought! They had the car repaired and ready to go within 24 hours of
me bringing it in, even though they had to wait for the part to be delivered. When I picked up the car,
they showed me some other unrelated things they had noticed, but didn't try to push me into getting them
fixed right away -- more just to let me know. They also rotated my tires (for free) because they noticed it
needed doing. So nice! When I took the car, the owner told me to call and confirm that the sound was gone.
And here's the best part -- after I picked up the car, they called the next day and asked if I could stop
by at my convenience. When I did, they presented as a gift a little model of a 1967 Cougar that I had
admired in their display case! Okay -- I can't guarantee everyone will get a little toy car... but Wow.

We just moved to San Diego from Texas and I needed to get my car 'checked' out.It hadn't been serviced for awhile and needed a good 'once' over. My car has 113000+ miles on it and I wanted to ensure I wasn't overlooking something major. This shop experience was the BEST ever!!! Edgar the Mechanic and Donna the receptionist/Mechanic's assistant made the experience EASY..... Within 10 minutes my car was up on a lift and Edgar was walking through all his findings. Donna was out their too, documenting the condition of all the key systems, including tires... Edgar explained the overrall condition and helped prioritize the repairs too. No pressure...No extra services I didn't need. Just honest explanations and a list of what types of things I could repair now and what I could 'wait on. I received an honest/reasonable quote and a realistic time for completion.... I have a 2002 Subaru Forester and have been to them for service twice already. From now on, I shall use them for all my car needs. They have served me well. I am very pleased with their service and the friendly professional attitude of the proprietors. They review the cars thoroughly, come up with a detailed estimate, and if need be show you all the details under the hood and the car. The prices are competitive, quite reasonable.
